Has anyone ever used these? After spending years trying and evaluating gear, and losing money, I’m wondering if an UL/backcountry gear rental program would have been a better way to go?

I understand they ship although I have rented in person because they are located conveniently in my city. They have lots of reasonably lightweight choices but not much of the UL stuff we get interested in here. They don’t rent ZPacks/MLD.
On that topic, I have “rented” gear by purchasing and then reselling gear after a big hike. I did this with a Duplex when I hiked the JMT but didn’t need the tent after the trip because I usually need a solo tent for most of my trips. I thought of the cost as a “rental fee”. I’ve heard of lots of people do this with Bearikades (although Wild Ideas does have a rental program so I am not sure this makes sense to me).
