Hi all,
Going nuts with choices for SW trip in May. I would say 1 week, maybe a couple of days more if its cost effective.
One one hand Im like…. just do a guided Grand Canyon Rim to Rim (backpack) —and then drive to UTAH just day hike Zion, Bryce and Escalante?
On the other hand I have found some packages that do Zion Bryce Escalante base camping for like 5-6 days. Â Consistently , the guided base camps in those parks in UTAH, not cheap by the way.
Then theres MOAB which Im not sure if thats like a 1-2 day thing not camping and just rent bikes or what.
My brain says that between GC, UTAH and MOAB, GC is the backpacking must one? Maybe Im wrong.
Not even clear which ones are the musts in UTAH between Zion, Bryce, Escalante, Arches, Canyonlands….
But I cant hack 2 consecutive backpacking tours in the same trip, example, backpack GC and then go backpack UTAH.
Make sense?
Thoughts?
