Freestanding 3-season, double wall, 2-person tent, External frame 42oz or under?

The Big Sky Revolution 1.5p UL seems to be a good fit.

If you are OK with the nylon fabric.  Also, Big Sky has some shelters with poles that are internal.  That would be my choice if snow or ice are possible because it would be more likely to slide off.  My issue with Big Sky are the long waits for delivery.  There have been posts on BPL suggesting that before ordering, email them and ask if the item is in stock and the estimated delivery time.

With respect to delivery time, TarpTent appears to be less, if you can find one with the features you want.

Kuiu Mountain Star is 49 oz, so a bit more than expected, but it may tick your other needs.

Trekkertent’s Saor DCF? Not a 2-person, but at 220 cm (86.6 in.) long, it should be good for taller folks.

If you loosen your requirement for freestanding to include tunnel tents, you will find a lot more options including the Hilleberg Anjan at 53 ounces.
