Forrest Fenn's Treasure

Here is an in depth video by one of the searchers. He found the place, but he wasn’t the one that claimed the treasure (he thinks he knows who did). It’s near the USFS Elwood Cabin, Elwood Gap, just east of Pagosa Springs, CO.

Hi Bill. There are numerous persons and videos claiming the same thing. All part of the reasons why the finder is probably not coming forward. Moderators feel free to move this thread if needed.

And I wouldn’t expect anybody to publicly claim that they found anything.  That would not be smart.

I would have told him via letter, mailed from somewhere, probably written with letters cut from a magazine

They won’t reveal it’s locati0n.  Is there treasure inside?  Is it a message from extraterrestrials?

Maybe it’s that the story seems so implausible, obviously someone’s trying to con someone(s) else

Funny that people would sue Fenn, now his family and Stuef

We should note that the guy who found it says it was in Wyoming…which is amusing, since so many of the people who “knew where it was” were sure it was in other states…
