Preparing for a section hike on the foothills trail. Was hoping to overnight park at the bad creek trail access. Does anyone know if you have to pay for overnight parking there? I will be arriving late in the day so concerned that if it is pay parking I will miss the ranger. Thanks
Found the info on Foothills trail site. Please disregard.
$2 per night. Pay at kiosk in parking area
If you use federal gov. campgrounds a few times a year, the annual pass is worth it. Used to be $35 but may be higher. Search the details. Once you are into your 60s (62?) you can get the lifetime pass for federal lands. Certainly worth it for outdoor lovers!
