So I just bought a Fenix 6 sapphire watch for $620. Looking forward to putting it through its paces. Anyone else have one? If so, anything I should pay particular attention to?

I’ve had one for the past 4 months! It’s a very capable watch (backpacking, trail running, cycling, you name it) hampered a little bit by how long it takes to get to know how to use it.

What I did after getting mine is to go through this review page by page and try to play with the functions described in each section.
Some of my favorite functionality:
-It “just works” for tracking pretty much any type of outdoor activity
-Setting up a battery profile to extend battery life while tracking multi-day backpacking trips
-Using the PacePro feature to get pace guidance during a trail run that accounts for elevation gain/slope angle
-Pairing headphones with the watch and going for a run without my phone was pretty cool, but not something I do regularly
Thanks Kirill. I don’t know why I didn’t think of DC Rainmaker, I usually go to his site when contemplating electronics. I’ll check it out.
