Have you tried a Gossamer Gear Lonestar 30 backpack? I’m mostly interested in how accurate the stated volume appears to be.

I understand how the ASTM measurement system works, using 20mm balls, but the stated measurements and the volume are pretty far apart. The main body is rated at 28 liters, but calculating the volume using GG’s measurements come out to more like 19 liters. That’s quite a discrepancy? You thoughts and experiences?
