Item: Feathered Friends Flicker UL 20°F quilt
Size: Regular, Wide width
Color: Tangerine
Purchased: 2019, directly from Feathered Friends
Weight: 1.82 lbs (~29 oz) with MLD dry bag on Produce Department scale (see photo)
Fill: 950+ fill-power goose down

Condition: Very good. The down is fully lofted and evenly distributed, and there are no cold spots, stains or odors. The zipper, drawcords and snaps all work properly. Only used once on a 5-day trip.  Unfortunately, I wore pants with a zipper on the back pocket to bed and as a result, I had to patch 6 small pinholes with Tenacious Tape. All the patches are holding well, and none has leaked down since repair. Close-up photos of each patch are included. Washed with down wash in October 2026.  If I didn’t have to patch this quilt, it would easily qualify as excellent condition.  Selling only because I am moving to a Zen Bivy quilt.

The Flicker can be used as an open quilt, zipped closed as a hoodless sleeping bag, or opened flat as a blanket. The footbox closes with a zipper and drawcord.

Includes: Original cotton storage sack and 12 L bonded DCF Mountain Laurel Designs dry bag (dry bag weighs 26.7 grams or 0.94 oz)

Price: $300 shipped to the lower 48 (new is $559 regular / $579 long). Payment by PayPal Goods & Services only. It ships within 2 business days of payment with tracking.

Location: Council Bluffs, IA / Omaha NE. Local pickup is possible, with the price adjusted for no shipping.

I forgot to mention that the quilt was always stored uncompressed in its cotton storage sack.

As the holes are patched, I am unable to show you the pinholes.  I have Venmo but haven’t used it much.  My email, which I believe works for Paypal as well is: immichaeledwards@gmail.com

What’s your venmo acct that I can send the payment to ?

Also can you tell me if possible how you washed the down quilt ……..just making sure that the bag is ok and hasn’t been subject inappropriate tumble dryer,as that may cause clumping and loss of insulation properties for the down.

Thanks.

I washed the quilt in cold water in a commercial front load washer using Nikwax down wash, rinsed it twice and dried it on the lowest setting for about 2 hours with tennis balls in the dryer to break up the clumps.  The down is perfectly clean and lofted.  The paypal/venmo information is above.
