Hi All,

Been running the MLD Supermid which has been great in a lot of ways (easy of setup, stability, large for gear, etc.) however even as large as it is, it seems that I’m always very away of how close the fabric is to my sleeping bag and head, and it’s very hard to sleep without moving a little so condensation ends up on my bag.

I’m wondering what the impressions are of folks who’ve made the switch, what did you switch to and how much of a difference did it really make in quality of sleep (due to being conscious to not get too close to sides)?

Thanks,

s

6′ and use the long (6’6″) WM Alpinlite bag (with overstuffing) I can keep some clothes warm if freezing temps out.  It’s quite puffy, then on top of the Thermarest xtherm it adds up in height at the foot end.  Last night got chilly at 8500ft, guessing 30ish, so was glad to have it.

I’m also using this tent for my two 80lb labs to join me.

ps – how the heck did those links get in my message as I didn’t put them there?
