Evazote foam back in stock at MLD

All sizes and thicknesses showing out of stock…???

Oh I see. Ron says ” we hope to be able to turn the foam back on for new orders next week”. 

So it appears as if MLD is just going to concentrate on getting out their huge number of backorders for now. Ron shut down any new ordering about 6 weeks ago.

If I was wanting Evazote I’d be alert and place an order as soon as it’s possible because I have a feeling the latest batch of foam won’t last long.

MEC out of Canada sells Evazote too…

Is this the same material/functionality/quality as Gossamer Gear’s 1/8 thin pad? (which has been out of stock for a while).  Thanks

The MLD foam, if it’s still the same as the stuff I bought a year or so ago, is not quite the same as the Gossamer Gear foam. It’s close enough though.

MLD has to pack the pad in a custom sized box they pay for, pay labor to pack and ship it, and pay the freight on an odd sized (large-ish) box. I think $8 is reasonable in the real world (vs Amazon World).

It’ a shame when small cottage businesses, that meet a real need in the community, go out of business. I for one am happy “to pay the freight”  since it will help insure MLD is around next time I need them. Businesses need to remain profitable to stay in business.

Brad W…….Think of the $8 as gas money as ALL SHIPPING RATES ARE INCREASING,  and I betting shipping items by most FS sellers on BPL will soon not be covered FREE!

Just FYI, I sent them an email asking if mine was still on Back-Order and would they be mailing it out soon/in this batch.  Answer was Affirmative.  They are scrambling to fill all the BO’s and then will keep filling new orders until they run out of product.
