The drop was limited to 200 quilts in all sizes…The only size left is the small/regular.  Good for EE!  I imagine selling 200 (okay, just 190 so far) quilts in a week is going to be a good sales week.

I am not a mass drop member so cannot look at the quilts, are they Goose down?

Last time they offered the Rev 20 on massdrop you could pay the extra afterwards direct to EE and they would supply an 850/900/950 GG down version instead. They were overwhelmed by orders and it look longer to ship the massdrop orders than they expected / promised. Perhaps this time they have streamlined things and no custom requests are accepted. Not sure, but I’m sure Peter or Tim will chime in.

Last years drop was a real mess. This year we took the winter to build up a batch of 200 that we could use for the drop. This cuts wait times to almost nothing, doesn’t push back our regular customer orders and greatly simplifies the whole drop process for us. These quilts are all finished and boxed for shipping, no customizations can be done on them

I really want to thank Tim’s crew for working hard during the off-season to make this drop possible without delaying orders to their regular customers.@marshlaw303

We streamlined this drop to offer a quilt that would appeal to most people, while still making it easier on EE to manufacture with limited options and the ability to make them ahead of time. Now we’re discussing how make the Enigma available in the summer with a similar style/size drop.

@kbabione
– we sold nearly 200 quilts in about 24 hours

Well done!  My problem was that I don’t check the Massdrop page directly very often…I usually wait for the email to arrive and then click on the UL items that interest me.  In this case that backfired because the quilt I wanted was already sold out by the time the email arrived!  It’s a good problem for everyone to have (well – except for me), but the end result is that I’ll be checking the site directly more frequently so I don’t miss other great deals.
