Did anyone ever venture up to Yukon? Elliot Creek and Peel River look like Class II safety with high wilderness factor. Thinking about trip next summer and wondering about water levels in late June and early July. Not looking for whitewater thrills as I will be alone or with one buddy. Last trip to big wilderness packraft was to Newfoundland and was an epic fail but this seems like safer bet for better access ( float plane) and terrain (no cross country bush travel).
