EE doesn’t publish a packed size for these, and none of the reviews I’ve found discuss it. Can anyone speak to packability (either of this jacked specifically or Apex generally)? I’m looking to lighten my winter around-camp layers on my bike trips, but with my bike-camping setup, volume is at a premium. How much more space can I expect this to take up than an equivalently-warm down jacket?
A size medium will compress down to the size of a softball, about 2.5L in volume. It’s about the same as a similarly sized Ultralight Down jacket. Perhaps a tad larger but marginal at best. Compared to my Ghost Whisperer, or Cerium SL, the Torrid is the same.
