Since I got my hands on the first kindle (e reader) I dreamed about an smartphone with e-ink display to use on my hikes…
recently I discovered the “Hisense 9pro” which is exactly that! A smartphone with e-ink display that claims to be capable of running all playstore apps which would mean I could use Spotify, Gaia, garmin explore and all the other stuff and even read (paper like) on an extremely energy efficient smartphone
Was by chance anybody able to get his hands on such a phone and can share some experience?
and what do you think about e-ink smartphones for ul-hiking?
