William,
Thank you for the insight into what I missed. From the experience you recount, it appears to raise even worse issues with the tent than those I anticipated. So I think fabric still rules, regardless of current fads.

in the Uk there is a guy, also cottage, single person, who is making a dome tent, outer Dyneema, inner nylon, weighing 36 oz, so a Hilleberg Unna type tent but with a larger vestibule , double wall, stronger Dyneema (0.8oz for the winter version). For 630 Gbp… half the price of the Djedi…. (if you count the vestibule of the Djedi)

There is a new review of the BA Fly Creek 1 HV Carbon tent on Gearjunkie here :  https://gearjunkie.com/big-agnes-fly-creek-hv1-carbon-tent-review.  Interesting, and seems durable enough.  (There is also a relatively recent review on REI’s website.)  I agree with the reviewer that the way the inner canopy is suspended from the support pole is a waste of space.  And in some of the photos, it appears that the dyneema rain fly isn’t tensioned tightly:  don’t know if there was a slight breeze, the tent not 100% level, or hard to tension up?  As others have stated, the tent has been out for a season now, and it shouldn’t be too long before they start showing up used….

Maybe saggy because they used large panel design instead of small panel design. I recall a few experts on BPL mentioning that smaller panels of fabric are critical for dyneema flys to be taut in non v designs.
