Does anyone know if a lightweight fabric like Membrane or Ventum that is down proof also mosquito bite proof if it is against the skin?
Apr 4, 2017 at 7:09 am #3461413I don’t know, but if there was insulation inside it would be.
Supplex is more comfortable against the skin and is Mosquito proof
Apr 6, 2017 at 6:22 am #3461822Unfortunately, they’re not in my experience. Supplex isn’t bad, but I’ve been bitten through that too. Really baggy clothes help, but otherwise you need a denser and heavier fabric.
Apr 6, 2017 at 11:56 am #3461893Do people get bit through their wind shirts? I’ve never seen a report saying they have, but that doesn’t mean they don’t. Â Essentially the same fabric although wind shirts won’t have the cire finish making them down proof.
