Does Patagonia make a hard shell that zips past the mouth? Marmot or others?

Having a jacket I could zip up to cover my mouth in blizzards would be the bees knees for me. I have a Patagonia gift card so would prefer to get one from them…plus I like supporting that company. However, I can’t tell from their website if they have a jacket like that…and customer service wasn’t sure.

Anyone know? How about Marmot…or others?

What I’ve seen on other jackets is more of a flap that you can pull over with buttons/velcro.

These are probably more for advanced mountaineering or a hybrid. I find that a lot of the higher end features are covered in some of the winter products.

However in the Sierras and mountains the wind can get so severe it might as well be winter.

Is not that what a face shield is for? My Dead Bird Beta AR covers all of my chin to right below my month. I could pull it up over my mouth but would lose the ability to rotate my head. Also, are you also looking for helmet compatibility?
Cheers

I am not looking for helmet compatibility. But if that’s what the jacket had, and its collar could be zipped past the mouth, I’d take it.

Rusty: I just think a parka designed to work with a helmet will give you better features for neck/chin coverage.

My Patagonia Super Cell Paclite (2013) zips to just below my nose.  Call customer service to see if anything similar is being made.

Thanks, everyone. I just called Patagonia and the wait time to speak with someone is 10 mins (I don’t have that kind of patience right now;-)).

Re the Torrentshell, I had one and it only came to my chin.

The Marmot Spire appears to cover the mouth.

Campsaver has a medium in the teal color on sale for $260
