Looking for a UL bivy that can comfortably fit a 25 x 77 inch 3-4” high pad and a 20-30F sleeping bag without it being tight. I used to have a Borah Gear cuben bivy large and wide and it was still too tight with a sleeping pad inside.

For what it’s worth I am 5 foot 11 and 170 pounds.

Are there any other ultralight bivy alternatives that can fit both a sleeping bag and a sleeping pad?

Go XL. I’m 5’10,Β  190Β  – 200 lbs. Works for me.

It works for you with the 25×77 pad inside as well as the sleeping bag? And you don’t get compression?

I have used slept in my MLD Event Soul bivy with a 0 degree 950 down quilt and a MLD FKT over it with my Neo air X therm large pad inside the bivy.. negative 15 degrees F, I was toasty comfortable all night. Yes the quilt touched the bivy but I would not say it was compressed to any amount of concern. that was maxed out as far as i would do it and for a few nights it is fine.
