That’s an extremely high loss. I’d suggest contacting Garmin as well as making sure latest firmware, it’s not set to constantly check, etc. try it without any connection to phone , bluetooth off on inreach and see it makes a difference . I’d be good for a few days on my mini 1 with it on from morning breaking camp till reaching next camp, early evening. It would take at least 3 days with some messaging , connected to both phone and watch to drop below 50% at which point I’d charge it back to 80-100%.

I will try turning off the bluetooth. I had always left that on and connected to the phone when it was on. Firmware is up to date, all tracking off.
Ok. 24 hour test with nothing on. No tracking, no logging, no bluetooth, no Ant+, no messages sent. Lost 23% battery in 24 hours.
Am now testing 24h with bluetooth on.
I have no idea how Garmin gets “Up to 24 days
Extended tracking mode with 30-minute tracking send interval”
I find that impossible.
With bluetooth the Mini 1 lost about 1.1% per hour. A hair more than when it when BT was turned off. Not sure why I was getting drastic reductions in the field with good line of site to the sky.
