Did BPL just get fast?

Same old click-n-wait for me.

A few hours ago it became much faster in logged out mode. I signed in to post this message, tried loading a few pages and it instantly became slow again. Using Android tablet.

Using a first gen iPad mini…

logged out, seemed like pages might be loading a little faster, but also started getting a lot of “there was a problem and the webpage was reloaded” errors.

Ryan has been spending days or weeks working on getting the speed up.

So yeah, could be faster.

Not sure about fast, but adverticements started appearing inside people’s posts now.

Edit: added a free “ad block” extension to the browser, all clean now.

I am getting the pop up ads in the middle of peoples comments in threads since yesterday, very annoying !

It is about 1/3 faster than it was two weeks ago. I consistently get a 4-5 second load time for the front page. This is down about 2 seconds from what I was getting. Again things like the stuff from avantlink, etc really about double/triple the load times.

I’d say it’s gotten faster in the past couple of days.   Still takes time to load.
