Current Fishing Net Options

Do you mean like a cast-net for bait fish? Or did you mean to say fishnet baselayers? Or do you mean something else entirely?

I meant landing net for smaller fish, like trout

I use one from a company called “Measure Net”. It’s not ultralight but light enough.

I recently purchased a Daiwa Keiryu Damo from Dragontail Tenkara.  https://dragontailtenkara.com/collections/nets/products/d-damo?variant=38309513724085  I haven’t had the opportunity to try out yet, but it is very lightweight, and seems like it should be functional enough, especially for smaller fish.

That looks like a great net! The wooden one is about the same weight but not so compact.
