Hi Folks, it been quite a while since I’ve posted on here. I hope this finds you well.
I’ve been a long time user of the Silnylon Deschutes tarp with Inner. I moved over to this shelter from a Hornet 1p and have not had many regrets. Occasionally it requires a little more thought to setup due to the larger are it occupies and sometime I find the inner a little cramped. Overall with great features like double door openable, sliding vestibule cover, dry setup and take down all at 24.5oz  I can’t complain too much. Still in that ever ongoing quest to drop weight I’m considering another shelter. I’m looking at Zpacks offerings but of course the biggest change would be the single wall aspect of the tent. Given I live in the PNW and primarily backpack here I expect I’ll get condensation.
Having attempted to wipe down shelters with a rag (tried microfiber and shammy) in the past I have never been able to actually completely dry the wiped surface some amount of moisture remains. So I guess I have a two part question: First is there a rag that exists that will completely dry the interior of a DCF shelter? Second, if not do folks pack their shelters with a damp interior?
Thanks!
Michael
