Is anyone familiar with the Colter Bay Campground in GTNP? Our trip dynamics have changed recently and now we’ll be basecamping from a campground in the park instead of backpacking. I’m wondering if any loop in that campground is better than others? It looks like we’d have availability in loops A, B, C, D, L, and N.
It looks like lots of sites open in Gros Ventre, too. I am 100% unfamiliar with that campground at all. Any input anyone can share about it would be appreciated, too.
