    @eddieruko

    I am planning for a trip in these neck of the woods. If you haven’t been keeping an eye on conditions, the entire forest has been closed for access.

    I am hoping conditions don’t worsen so that I can make the trip to Gunnison to summit San Luis Peak.

    Locale: The West is (still) the Best

    More forests are set to close south in New Mexico (Santa Fe NF has been closed after Memorial Day and now Cibola NF is due).  Some rain is due this weekend from a hurricane coming up from Mexico, but it needs to rain enough to dampen the dead vegetation.  Of course rain brings lightning, so hoping for more rain and less lightning (vice versa would be bad).
