What are you telling your emergency contact/family member about when to call in the posse for you? Like, how long should they wait after not hearing from you, after your expected arrival in a town? Also… I’m wondering about availability of phones in some of these little towns. I know some don’t have cell service, but I figure it wouldn’t be too hard to at least borrow someone’s phone to make a quick “I’m OK” call, or find a pay phone and use a phone card… right? Thoughts?
Also, if there are any little towns that you know don’t have service, please share… much obliged!
