Can you identify this tent stake? I found it backpacking in the wilderness (off trail). It ended up being my favorite tent stake for conditions I was in.
It is aluminum, 9 inches, .235 inches in diameter (5.85mm), 18 grams
Where do I find more?

The hook shape looks like a lawson , but not exactly.
Those look just like the stakes that came with my Appy Trails tarp, but three inches longer. I think it’s just what you get with cheap tents.
And now that I think of it, my REI car-camping tent had similar stakes. But it’s too much work to dig those out to measure them.
Search “shepherd hook tent stakes” and you’ll get a lot of hits. Many are titanium but I bet there are some aluminum too. There are tons of offerings
Glen L, I got lots of hits, but none were 9 inches long. REI had stakes that were similar, but only 7 1/4 inches long. I wanted less expensive then TI, because the kids (or me) will lose them.
Tkkn, I see your point. That is a nice long stake. Hope you find some. Some of the various surplus shepherd hooks I have are closer to the REI length. Best of luck.
Not Lawsons.
Looks like a cheap stake included in lower end tents.
I think it’s a relic from the past.
Thanks SIMULACRA, I might have to try the 9 inch lawson, until I can find the inexpensive Al version.
