California Redwoods post fire

When you visit the redwoods there are these rings of trees.  From past fires.

Cool to see it happening from the beginning

Glad to see there was an upside to radiating the planet.

now that I think of it, I think those rings of trees are a result of people chopping down the tree, not a fire.  Redwoods didn’t burn because they’re so tall and their bark is so thick.  Has to be a big fire.

Those look like ferns.

Creosote grows in rings.
