Here is my pack for a typical outing along the California central coast. The temps usually are pretty consistent at 70/40 with very little rain. Please feel free to make any suggestions as I welcome them, I’ve learned a ton over the past few years and have done a lot of research to get my entire base weight down to what my original pack weighed empty by itself. I do want to continue to learn from you all. Thank you.

Wow, there is some weird weight alchemy going on in your gear list. When I fist skimmed it, looking at the pack, bag and shelter, I thought there was no way this was 6 pounds or less. But it is! I know the California Coast has consistent weather patterns, so I am sure you can get away without rain gear, right? Ditch the Exodus for something more like a true SUL pack, and go with something like a Zpacks solo plus tarp and you can save even more. I would post over at the SUL forum, you might get better feed back there. That forum could use some posts, too.
