What were the test conditions used for the hot plate testing? I’m curious about wind speed and temperature of both hot plate and environment.

The hot plate is set to 100F. Ambient is maintained at 70F. The guarded hot plate is surrounded by rigid foam insulation to a distance of about 3 feet above the plate to eliminate direct air movement over the test sample.
