Has “remaining R value per unit weight” been presented or discussed yet?  I am less concerned about the R value decline with Apex if its “R” Value per unit weight remains equal or higher than Prima Loft Gold.

Also it occurs to me that a product designed around the benefits of a continuous sheet like Apex might be likely to have more degradation after ‘damage” than a product that is designed around a shorter length fiber to begin with.  I’d expect the short length fiber product to end up with fewer “unplanned” crimps and fewer breakages vs. a continuous fiber.  So, the question remains, what is R value per ounce after the destructive compression tests?

Also, I believe that one reason for Apex’ strong performance is the elimination of many seams.  I don’t think the testing captures that beenfit.

I’m not trying to promote Apex and I am more than willing to investigate PrimaLoft gold products if they are “better” for my use case.
