I’m posting this in gear, because it was a shelter. Maybe it belongs elsewhere. Bus 142 arrived in Fairbanks, Alaska this morning. It will be a destination to put on your list, along with some amazing local hikes, and a possible Alaska Long Trail some day.

Karen is there a proposal for a long trail in Alaska that I have not heard about?
An Alaska long trail is under discussion by a few groups, and former governor tony knowles is an advocate.
