1.5 – 2 person.

Waterproof bathtub floor with standup corners.

Want something I can sit up in.

16 oz or less.

Moderate cost would be nice.

I have looked and looked and am getting nowhere really.

So far Bear Paw designs seems to be the ticket.

Any Advise?

Thanks

While I can’t recommend a good net tent from personal experience, I think anything from the main cottage manufactures (SMD, MLD, ZPacks, Yama Mountain Gear, etc.) would be a pretty good choice.

I would recommend caution re: BPWD.  Quite a few people report being very dissatisfied (search these forums).  I have personally seen only one piece of BPWD gear, a net tent, and would (generously) categorize it’s quality as a 2 out of 10.  I would not chose to purchase from that manufacturer.

Why not just put this in Gear Swap as a WTB? I got BPD net tent meeting those specs on there.

I guess I can sound repetitive, but why not make your own?  Bug tents are easy and the materials are relatively inexpensive.  Nothing needs to be precise and there’s no high stresses or loading.  You can be sloppy and it will still work fine.

Think I have figured it out.

I need a bathtub GC anyway (have the sil poly to make that), so I will combine that with one of the S2S nets that are one sale. Or build one. But at $35 for the two person net with the pole at the top, I might as well go that route.

thanks
