I think I may have asked this before, but is there a long sleeve shirt that will keep the bugs off in temperatures 80F and above with little or no wind and with full sun. That you will not roast in. Thank you.

I tried a Patagonia Sun Stretch years ago based on Ryan’s review and have been happy with it since. I think it was this review: https://backpackinglight.com/patagonia-sun-stretch-shirt-review/
I don’t know what the current setup is but mine has mesh behind the front pockets with vertical zippers adjacent to the buttons on the shirt. Those provide a lot of airflow when open.
Sorry, I did forget one caveat, that there is high humidity. I have found the Patgonia will work somewhat above 80F it is very dry but with high humidity you will sweat some just standing. The Patagonia works better around 70F with high humidity.
A hood will be hot. A loose button up shirt and a hat.
I use an OR Echo with a spritz of botanical bug spray. Mostly on the shirt: back of collar or wherever they attack.
Sometimes I have to spray exposed skin (like calves) but mostly I spray the shirt.
As you describe, any heavier shirt (that actually prevents bites) also limits heat and sweat shedding.
