We’re doing the Buffalo River Trail in Arkansas the first week of January from Boxley to Pruitt and trying to narrow down on where we should plan on being able to filter water. Do any of the creeks we cross reliably hold water this time of year? Should we only plan on being able to filter when we come into contact with the Buffalo river itself? Particularly interested in the Boxley to Ponca piece of the puzzle but any information is appreciated (even if it doesn’t pertain to water sources).
