FYI – Adventure Alan used some quantitative data in a stove comparison on YouTube. Not known for data, he had an air temp of 32F and a box fan on low at 5 mph. On the video he shows the test with the BRS. It only reached 100F water temp. Not enough BTUs for the weather. For the weight, under 2 oz, the reliable Snow Peak Litemax would be a more reliable, durable stove. Some hunting could turn up a used one for cheap IMHO. However, the Litemax also needs a windscreen as most stoves do.

The BRS 3000T appears to be a cheap copy of the FireMaple FMS-300T. The FireMaple stove is a good quality product that doesn’t have the dangerous pot support failures of the BRS stove. Of course, that means it weighs 45 g instead of 26 g.

Like other people, I use the Soto Amicus pretty much all the time because it is better in wind. It replaced a Kovea Supalite Titanium (60 g).
I was given a BRS stove, but I threw it away. I don’t need gear that is known to fail.
