Breathable minimal shoes, possibly found in the EU

It seems there is no love in the EU for minimalist shoes, I can’t find anything anywhere, no innov8, no new balance minimus trail, the only ones I might be able to order online are Merrell vapor glove, trail glove and bare access, so trying these things in a store it’s not possible. Sales reps look at me puzzled when I ask for shows with a thin sole, and I tried in Italy and France. So I have a couple of questions, where can I find these kind of shoes in Western Europe or European online shops?

And what are some of the most breathable minimalist shoe to be found? I would like to wear sandals with socks also in winter but only Germans to that, and it’s a problem when it rains. I am also interested in shoes that might be perforated like the vivobarefoot. Ideally I would like a shoe with a very loose mesh but where the color of the sock is not as visible.

Any ideas? Right now I have looked into some of the Merrells, the NB MT10 I would have to order from the US, and the Vivobarefoot are too expensive and also from the US.

You might have a look at Vivobarefoot.  I am certain they have a presence in the EU.

Unfortunately I am never in the UK and Vivobarefoot do not have any stores anywhere near. The problem is that their shoes and invo8 are hard to find in any store.

What shoe from Vivo and Inov8 is the most breathable?

There’s a German company that sells minimal shoes under the trading name Joe Nimble. Very high quality, but insane prices. If money is no object, check out their TrailToes.

A much more affordable option is Freet in the UK. A small business with great service. They do mail order and have some outlets on the Continent. They’ve not particularly stylish, but very functional. I’m a happy Freet customer.

You can get Merrell trail glove on trekinn.   Bare access also very breathable but not as minimalist.

they fit true to length and are reasonably wide in the forefoot and toebox.

Thanks for the suggestions, the biggest problem is that it’s hard to tell from pictures how breathable these shoes are and sizing and fit is always so subjective. I will look into the suggested options.
