Announcing two contests to celebrate Father’s Day and the importance of hiking with dad.
1. #hikingwithdad Photo Contest
Post a photo on Instagram with the hashtags #hikingwithdad and #backpackinglight during Father’s Day Week (June 18-25, 2016)
All entries will receive a $50 Gift Certificate for any 2016 Wilderness Adventures Trek and one winning entry will receive a $200 Gift Certificate.
Entries will be published at backpackinglight.com and/or reposted at the backpackinglight.com Instagram feed.
2. Essay Contest: Why Hiking with Dad is Important
Whether you’re a dad, or a son/daughter, we want to hear why you think hiking with Dad is important.
Submit a 500-1000 word essay, plus one photo as a JPG attachment, to publisher@backpackinglight.com.
One winning entry will be selected, and will receive a free spot for the July 24-27 Sundance Trek in Montana!
All entries will receive a $100 Gift Certificate for any 2016 Wilderness Adventures Trek.
