Hi all, thinking of doing a five day four night trip packrafting in the Bob Marshall. Does anyone have any experience or beta doing this in June? I’m looking at heading over Stadler Pass and then back over White River pass making a loop at Benchmark.

Any tips for this loop this time of year?

Thanks!

In a normal June both the SF Flathead and W Fork Sun can be a bit high/sporty.  Not an issue this year, unless we get another monsoon or period with highs in the 90s.  Currently levels for both rivers are on the low end of ideal, so I’d go ASAP.

It’s a great route.  Running the White and hiking back up to camp is highly recommended.
