Looks like BD has a new megalite out and also a mega snow they are using a polyester fabric but does not say what the coating is. They have added mid point tieouts and the mega snow has a snow valance or skirt. Anyone have any experience with either yet? Thanks
Links to articles or web pages because Google shows nothing. Although BDs website show no stock I put that down to Covid stopping production in China
All I found them on was advertising from campsaver and outdoor gear play that came up when googled and I noticed a color change. I called black Diamond and was told nothing existed then I called campsaver and outdoor gear play and the Black Diamond again and found they should be out with the new megalite in mid June no date yet for the mega snow

I’ll hold off until they finally decide to use double sliders on the zipper.
I’d really like to see a bigger version also and the use of a much stronger centre pole for a dedicated snow use version.
The new mids do appear to be larger, 270×270.
That would be much better for a small group shelter.
For years Black Diamond had their specs wrong on size they said it was 86” x 86” mine is 9’x9’ or real close I had wrote them off till reading an old BPL review.
Funny because mine were spot on 7’6″ square, which was perfect for solo ski touring and OK for two
