i was thinking of recruiting my Frodd Toggs jacket to keep moisture off my sleeping bag. Should I put it on my bivy, between bivy and bag, or inside bag?
I’ve worn my VBL pants, jacket, and socks to bed (baselayers underneath), and I usually only get condensation near my face bc I don’t like to cover my head. But that’s for winter backpacking. Idk if the rain jacket would truly eliminate condensation, as it is still a breathable fabric and moisture might still make its way out. Do you crack your bivy zipper open just a tad to allow some airflow?
