I’m wondering do bio bags hold up to hot or boiling water? Has anyone had experience with this? I’m trying to not contribute to the use of a ton of plastic where I can get away with it.

Biodegradable ziploc bags are LDPE with a melting point of 110°C and a maximum usable temperature of 65°C. I don’t think it will hold up to boiling water very well. If you want to use less plastic, cook and eat out of your pot.
