I know that in the past people have had trouble with billing and delivery from Big Sky. I purchased two tents last X-mas season also at a discount (Soul 2). They were shipped right the end of the described time frame and my credit card was not charged until they were in the mail.
Ordered a Rev 1P from Big Sky, received it on 16 Dec
Seems they have really speed up their production cycle.
