What *specific* soap do you use to clean your HMG pack, please??
IIRC the HMG site says one can use “non-detergent” soap.? OK, but an example would help :)

Detergent would be laundry detergent or anything with sodium laurel sulfate (not sure that was spelled right.) Non-detergent would be castille soap, dr. bronners.
It’s the type sold as Down Soap by outdoor gear shops and Pure Soap by your supermarket. In the supermarkets it will probably be a solid bar or flakes so you need to dilute it yourself before use.
The Castile Pure Soap is another example .
