Best CFM for windshirt breathabilty; also insulation (Clo) from windshirt

Hi, I’ve read here that after a precise CFM, increasing the CFM does not increase the breathability but still decrease wind protection, which is suboptimal. Sometimes I read 35 CFM it’s that precise value, some other times I read it’s 40 CFM. Could you tell me the precise value once and for all? I’ve also read here that a wind jacket gives insulation by trapping the air and that that insulation is extremely gram-efficient. The post said that this insulation was same whatever the CFM rating of the windshirt… how is that possible? I would have tought that a lower CFM trap more air and insulate better (getting closer to VBL the lesser the CFM). I guess I was wrong, but could you please explain me how a 5 CFM windshirt, a 40 CFM windshirt and 60 CFM windshirt can trap the air as efficiently and/or insulate as much.

Also, another question, is it true that a windshirt of that precise CFM value (that I hope you will tell me) will in no way reduce the breathability and abilty to pass sweat and moisture of anything under it? The logic was that if after the precise optimal CFM value the breathability does not increase, then a fleece (which has an extremely high CFM, well oven 100) should not be more breathable than a windshirt with a CFM of the precise optimal value and also not more breathable that the fleece+the windshirt on top of it. Is this really true? Thank you
