Curious to know how those of you using Befree filter how you store it in between trips to prevent no-flow issues.

My first one I stored wet and it clogged.  The second one I‘ve stored dry and it’s been working better.  I squeeze 2l of clean water with some bleach through it and just let it dry.   Before a trip I soak it for 12-24hrs and it’s been good to go.

Thanks. Any ideas on why they recommend not back flushing the Befree?

If you must store it WET when you clean it for storage use DISTILLED water as some water sources has high mineral content and plugs the filter fibers.

I just rinse it and leave it in my gear locker. Just remember to pre-soak before your next outing if it dries and you’re in a hurry. I typically do this on the go, screwing it onto a bladder with an ounce or two of water in it and letting it ride wet.
