BeFree Clogging – is there a viable solution

I go outta town for the weekend and come back to find this?  What would J. Cash say?

I see that silt a comin

comin down the stream

Lord you know I’m tryin to keep my

befree clean

but I plugged it tight in Titcomb, then I drank it dry

and If I can’t clean that filter Lord,

I think I’m gonna  die…. so high…. and dry….bye bye.

I have already exchanged my Befrees two times due to reservoir deglueing and developing leaks. That also solved the slow-flow issues.

Going to exchange for the third time. I guess I’m lucky with those leaks falling under warranty.

Just to jump on the glacial silt train, mine did slow a bit in the Winds last July, but was easily cleared by swishing. Still my go to until it breaks my heart….or kidneys.
