Lost a part of my cheap rod when it fell out of my pack. So I’m looking for a really cheap rod for my really cheap real. Something packable and low weight is preferred. What do you all think?

I have one of these and love it. For what it is it does a great job and I have caught a lot of fish with it.

Go to a decent Fly Shop and look for a beginners set up. Â Sportsmans Warehouse has some nice inexpensive gear. Â I have rods that retail for over a $1000, but do the fish know the difference between one of those and my cheap St Croix?
