Hi All,
Does anyone know where the basaltic rocks are on the Lamar River, not Yelllowstone River, which Osborne Russell mentions in his book Journals of a Trapper and is quoted on this website. Are basaltic rocks near a particular creek?

The Wyoming State Geological Survey website has a Geology of Yellowstone Park ARCGIS map on the home page. Sorry, but I can’t get the link to stick here!
