Been looking for some useful gadgets to design to 3D print lately, came up with a tiny salt/pepper/other 3-way shaker this weekend that turned out really neat.

Took a couple adjustments to get the fit right, but now the shaker screen snaps on/off easy, and stays secure- while still rotating well.  The lid seals off the shaker well, I haven’t seen any misplaced grains of seasoning after shaking it around.

It comes in at 6 grams on my scale empty, and is just a bit over an inch tall.  I haven’t measured the capacity of the 3 sections, but should be plenty for a multi-day trip.

That looks great. Are you going to share the file? I’d be curious to try it out.

I like the simplicity of rotating the shaker holes over the desired compartment.  “O” = “other” could be for “onion salt”.

Or MSG.  Or alum for getting turbid water to settle faster.

A double-ended version of the same style would allow 6 seasonings to be brought.

Hey Ben. My printer prints with a minumum .5mm wall thickness. The lip around the edge of the shaker lid is thinner than that. Is it possible for you to thicken that up a little or share the source file?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Oh, right- I had to turn on “ thin walls” or such in Prusa slicer- and it handled it correctly.</p>
I’ll try to add step files to the link Incase that doesn’t work for you.
