My Backcountry Boiler cozy is melted.  Any suggestions on what material to use for a new one?

I believe the original material was 3mm neoprene.

Steve: It’s good to know that one can get leopard-spot neoprene.  I bet it works great in keeping gazelles away from your ramen noodles.

Jim: For similar projects, I’ve often just cut an arm or a leg off of an old wetsuit.  If you want to send me a careful measurement of diameter (or circumference is probably easier to measure accurately) and length of the Backcountry Boiler you’re looking to cover, I’ll check if I have anything in that size.

Good catch David…I was wondering if anyone would notice the leopard-spot option.  :o

I like the leopard skin!!!!  It surly would be a conversation piece on the trail.

    4” diameter, 6” tall.  I don’t have any old wetsuits….

    thanks Steve
